Have people told you that you look just like your mother - or your daughter? If there is a striking resemblance between the two of you, submit a photo and you could win a pair of iJoy-130 massage chairs from John V. Schultz in the Erie Times-News Mother-Daughter Look-Alike Contest brought to you by For Women Only Expo.
Submit your photo between now and September 12. Voting for 6 finalists begins Sunday, September 14. Visitors to the For Women Only Expo at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, Pa., October 10-12, 2008 will vote for their favorite finalist photo. The photo with the most votes by the close of For Women Only will win a pair of iJoy-130 massage chairs from John V. Schultz. Winner will be announced in the Erie Times-News on Sunday, October 19.
How does the contest work?
Click on the Submit Your Photo tab above and submit a photo of the mother and daughter posed close together that is no more than one year old.
When the submission period ends, at 5 p.m. on September 12, readers of the Erie Times-News and GoErie.com visitors will vote for their favorite Mother/Daughter photo until Monday, October 6 at 5 p.m.
Are there prizes?
Yes. The mother and daughter who are judged to look the most alike each will receive an iJoy-130 massage chair from John V. Schultz
How often can I enter?
Only one entry is allowed per person - so make sure you choose the photo that best shows the similarity between mother and daughter.
How do you vote for photos?
Between September 14 and October 6, click on the Vote For Photos tab above and you'll see all the photos that have been entered. Go through the photos, pick the one that you like best and vote for it. You must register once to vote.
How often can I vote?
You can vote once per day during the voting period.
Can I vote for my own photo?
Absolutely! In fact, email a link to this contest to your friends and family, and have them vote, too.
When will the winners be announced?
Contest finalists will be announced at the For Women Only Expo, October 10-12, 2008, at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, Pa. Grand prize winner will be announced on Sunday, October 19.
Why must I register to vote?
We ask for people to register to ensure that a person is voting only once per day.
When you register, you will be asked to create a user name and password. After you do that, you can simply log on and skip the registration process the next time you want to vote.
