The Importance of Genetic Testing for Breast Cancer

Medical Oncologist, The Regional Cancer CenteCarmen Pisc, MD is a graduate of the Carol Davila Medical School of Bucharest, Romania. Following a Residency in Internal Medicine at University Hospital in Bucharest, she completed a Residency in Internal Medicine and served as Hematology Oncology Fellow at U Mass Memorial Health Care in Worcester, Mass. Dr. Pisc has a special interest in breast cancer. Her post doctoral Fellowship work involved the investigation of the mechanism of breast cancer, studying the origination and development of the disease. Dr. Pisc is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
